Laser-cut box from 3mm basswood. This box is about 4.3" x 4.1" by 0.8" Unstained. It might be nice with a rich color behind the filigree.

Next time, revisit the image settings. They were too light so I had to do a second pass. Maybe try the line settings. Cheese board from Dollar Tree. Board corners were prepped with hydrogen peroxide.

Laser-cut from 3mm basswood. This was my first project with a living edge and this one turned out great. It's unstained and the dragon engraving was a handy graphic for the top. The interior dimensions are approximately 2.5" x 2.5" x 1.75".
