North Cache Seminary To Hold Rites
North Cache high school seminary graduation exercises will be held in Benson stake tabernacle, Richmond, Tuesday evening at 8:15, it was announced today by E.M. Hicken, principal. The program, to which the public is invited, will be presented by granduating studens, with addresses as follows: "A Beacon on a Hill," Rex Spackman; "Faith Finds the Way," Anna Mae Claypool; "Power to Keep to the Course," Sherwin Buttars; "Walking in the light," Mildred Salisbury. The North Cache string ensemble, directed by J.W. Pulsipher, will present music, as will a chorus of graduating girls, a brass quartet, a voacl trio, and a chorus of graduation boys. Principal Hicken will present the graduates, while W. Hazen Hillyard, president of Smithfield stake, will award diplomas. Prayers will be offered by Fern Condie and Walter Bybee. Music has been prepared under direction of S.D. Moore Jr, with student conductors being Ruth Louise Stoddard, Elene Eskelsen, Lanice Moore and Rex Spackman. Clarice Hamp Recites Vows in Temple
The marriage of Miss Clarice Hamp, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John T Hamp of Richmond, Utah, to Eugene H. May, was solemnized Friday in impressive Salt Lake Temple rites performed by Pres. Charles R. Jones. Mr. May is a son of Mr. and Mrs. George E May, 378 Quince St, Salt Lake City. Immediately following the mid-morning marriage service, a wedding breakfast honored the couple in the gardens of the May home. Miss Florence Hamp, sister of the bride, was hostess. RECEPTION HELD. Friday evening a reception further honored the couple at the Ninteenth Ward meetinghouse. Ensemble worn by the bride was of white slipper satin, cut on classically simple lines with high neckline, long pointice sleeves, a sheath-like bodice and graceful, floor length skirt. Her sheer veil fell in scallops at fingertip length and was secured to a headpiece of imported Swiss lace. Her flowers were white carnations and stephanotis centered with an orchid. ATTENDANTS. Maid of honor to the bride was her sister, Miss Florence Hamp. Miss Mary Jean Benson and Miss Jalaine Albiston completed the bridal line. They wore gowns of matching design in soft colors of yellow, blue and pink and carried contrasting bouquets of carnations and roses. Flower girl was Carol Louise May, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Rulon May or Portland, Ore. Wilbur May assisted his brother as best man, while Ralph Ryon, William Jensen and Lawrence Layton ushered the guests. MOTHERS' GOWNS. At the evening reception, Mrs. Hamp, mother of the bride, wore a gown of dusty rose accented with carnation and gardenia corsage. Mother of the bridegroom was lovely in a turquoise gown, also with a gardenia and carnation corsage. This is the first grandchild for Mr. and Mrs. Harold Albiston. Mr. and Mrs. Albiston and daughter, Mrs. Gary Larsen went to Salt Lake City on Sunday, Nov 30th to visit at the Robbins home. Mrs. Albiston stayed there to assist her daughter for a few days.

Orem Couples Attend Banquet
Metropolitan Life Insurance Companys honor banquet was held recently at Hotel Utah roof gardens. The purpose of the banquet was to honor agents from the Provo office because of their superior services rendered and all around accomplishments. The men were chosen out of 60 districts on the west coast. This is the first time a Utah District has won this honor. A large trophy was presented to the group of men and may be seen at the Provo office. Dr. Paul Gronemand and Dr. Doyle Cranney and their wives were honored guests. These two doctors are company examiners. Other couples attending from Orem are: Mr. and Mrs. Ferrin Goode, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Told, Mr. and Mrs. Don Gammett, Mr. and Mrs. Bud Robbins and Mr. and Mrs. Bob Shelton. Dancing was enjoyed after the banquet.

Helen Albiston and Clair L. Kidd were married in the Logan LDS Temple on April 25 by Presiden George Raymond. Helen's parents are Mr. and Mrs. Harold Albiston of Richmond and Clair's are Mr and Mrs Garland H Kidd of Preson. The groom's parents were hosts at a wedding breakfast at the Bluebird. That evening the bride's parents gave a reception at the Benson Stake house in Richmond. Attending the bride were Mrs. Nancy Lundgreen, matron of honor, and bridesmaids, Janice Murray, Rose Marie Bullen,Merris Petersen, Sharon Albiston, Gloria Thompson, Mary Lee Pitcher, Kathlene Kidd and Marsh Kidd. BEST MAN. Jay T Cole was best man. Ushers were Bud Robbins and Daryl Workman. Grandmother of the groom, Mrs Myra Kidd was in the receiving line. The wedding cake was a git of the Holger M Sanders family of Richmond. Sisters of the bride, Mrs. Shirley Larsen and Mrs. Valaine Robbins assisted in the trousseau room. Mrs. Hugh Lene Workman, sister of the groom, registered the gueses. Others assisting were Bair, Karleen Murray, Diane Andrus, Karla Dobson, Valene Farnes, Marva Halverson, Myrna Cole and Jeanene Anderson. For going away the bride chose a tan suit with brown accessories. The couple honeymooned in Southern Utah and Las Vegas. They are now at home in Richmond.

Lowell W. Robbins claimed Miss Jalaine Albiston as his bride in nuptial rites solemnized Nov. 17 at thehome of Mrs. Mae D. Williams, 762 Eighth Ave. Pres. T.W. Muir of the Emigration Stake, uncle of the bride, officiated. The bride, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. M. H. Albiston of Richmond, Utah, chose to wear a ballerina-length gown of lace. Her sheer veil fell to finger tip length. White rose buds surrounded an orchid in the bridal bouquet. Miss Lonnie Jarrell was bidden to attend the bride. Duties of the best man were assumed by Phil Kearsley for the bridegroom, who is a son of Mr. and Mrs. L.W. Robbins of Provo. The new Mrs. Robbins is a former student of Brigham Young University. The bridegroom, who is a graduate of the University of Utah, will make a home for his bride in Salt Lake City.

Notes on the cord blood are important and relate to the stillborn Jalaine had in 1956. Since Jalaine's blood type was A- and Bud's A+, there was a possibility of Rh incompatibility if the baby had A+ blood type. Baby was A-.

Lowell Wesley "Bud" Robbins
1925-2014
Bud Robbins, 89, died April 18, 2014 in Salt Lake City, UT. Bud was born on Jan 13, 1925 in Ogden, UT to Vennetta Spencer & Lorenzo Wesley Robbins. He married Jalaine Albiston on November 17, 1951. Bud served in the US Marine Corps during WWII in the Pacific theater. He received a degree in Economics from the University of Utah and attended law school. He chose to work as a salesman in both insurance and pharmaceutical sales. Bud was a devoted family man. He was an accomplished skier, tennis player and golfer and sporting activities were always important to him. He was well read and loved to discuss a wide variety of topics with anyone. Bud is survived by his wife of 62 years, Jalaine; son Scott (Deb) and daughter Jan Long (Jim). Special thanks to Cornerstone Hospice for their care. No services. Jalaine, age 90, passed away on September 28th, 2017 as a result of Alzheimer's. Born in Richmond, Utah on June 24th, 1927 to Melvin Harold "Holly" Albiston and Ruby Mendenhall Wilkinson. Raised in Richmond. Jalaine always loved her small town upbringing. She married Lowell Wesley (Bud) Robbins on November 17, 1951 in Salt Lake City. Marriage later solemnized in the Logan temple. Jalaine was a good sport, learning to ski, golf and play tennis with her sports crazy husband. She loved family and always had an open dorr for anyone to stay. She held many church positions and worked at the Church Office Building for many years. Survived by her son Scott (Deb) and daughter Jan Long (Jim). Preceeded in death by her husband Bud, sister Helen and parents. Thanks to staff at The Coventry, The Ridge, Pheasant Run and Cornerstone Hospice for their care. Bud was cremated and his ashes were placed in an urn. Bud's urn was placed in Jalaine's casket and buried with her.
