Melt the butter in a medium saucepan over medium-low heat. Add cream and simmer for 20 minutes. Then add garlic and add cheese slowly but stir quickly, heating through and letting cheese melt. Try not to let the cheese clump up. Serve over fettuccine noodles. Makes 4 servings.
Michelle's Note: This is the closest thing to Olive Garden's sauce that I have found.
